Terrance's Birthday

We celebrated Terrance's 32nd birthday yesterday and will continue celebrating it tomorrow. The boys made Daddy a card and he got a new Eagles jersey from us as well. Hence the cake in green of course. I have discovered that cake decorating is not as hard as it looks either.
We had a great turnout for Terrance's party on Friday night. Lots of good food and great friends. Exactly how we like to celebrate. It was a nice way to end the summer as well.

Dalton & Scissors

Dalton had the cutest do around. Surfer dude no more but haircut gone bad. Safety scissors in a 3 year olds hands can lead to this. Hopefully it will grow back by the time we decide to do Christmas cards. If he wasn't so darn cute....

Going Streaking

I am convinced that my children are allergic to clothes. They all own several bathing suits but for some reason once they get wet they all decide that it's time to get naked. Even Ian has fallen into the tradition. They are now imposing their nudist ideas onto the neighbor's kids. I have photographic evidence that will be used later in life when they get married. We have an arsenal of naked shots that can be used in a slideshow.

Family website

Now that I finally found an easier way to publish, I should be able to keep the website up to date. I hope everyone checks it out once in a while even if they don't check out my rambling thoughts.

Steve thinks I need a job. He's right but for now this all you are going to get. It will be different next year when both Colin & Dalton are in school. Ian and I may need sometime apart by then.

Football

The only bad thing about the start of football is that its the end of the summer. But Terrance is ready. He has his new jersey for the season and he is out right now watching the pre season game against Carolina. It's hard to believe there are people out there that think we could possibly root for Carolina. Do they not know we are die hard Eagles fans? Colin's first birthday had to be worked around the playoff game. We sang Happy Birthday during half time so no one would miss anything. He wore his first jersey and then proceeded to get green cake icing all over it. That's ok, we had to soon retire the T.O. jersey. We need to get one more jersey for Ian and then the boys will be set. We even have some attire that we will be passing along to Steve and Monica's new baby.

It's time to stock up on football food for Sunday afternoons and watch the boys yell in unison with their Daddy. Go Eagles!

The boys first sleepover.

This past Friday we kept Walker and Andrew overnight to repay our favor. Holly and David kept the boys last weekend when Terrance and I went out of town. The fun began with 5 boys under the age of 4. We were very fortunate and had an extra set of hands since Aunt Sara stopped by for the weekend. They all had a great time and the only hard time was bed time. We took the catalyst (Dalton) out of the pot and that seemed to settle everyone down. Once it got quiet we then put Dalton back into bed. Colin was up at the crack of dawn at 6:30 and woke poor Walker up as well. We were happy to help and were very appreciative especially since they did it for us as well.
